That's our wonderful home for 11 years. We've put it on the market so we can move closer to the city where our children are both going to school next year. Sounds mad, I know. But we've had a lovely time here and it feels right to make the move. I just hope another family falls in love with the property as we have done.
Because we're semi-rural, there are some fabulous starlit nights. Sadly, tonight's display is not done any justice by my small digital camera. However, I did try. We were using the telescope to look at Venus (very bright) and Jupiter (with moons). Sorry I couldn't do any better than this. Maybe next time when it's not so dark out.
I have been going through the same thing...but for almost one year now. We put our house on the market last October and bought a new one we moved into in December. We have had only two offers on our house in those 12 months. The first one that timed out about the same time that our patience with our realtor did, and now the second one should be almost complete, but unfortunately there is a domino effect happening.... the buyer's of a house 3 back are having financing problems... that means that each subsequent house being purchased is put on hold. Ours is the last in the line. Now it is moved to mid-November, but it is really trying our patience. Hard to get excited by it since I am so cautious about it now. Your home looks lovely, and it is a perfectly sound reason to move. I wish you much luck with it!
